Mommy took a lot of pain to go all the way to Harward Sq to get a very yummy cake from Finale Bakery (Harvard Sq), and the next day went to Boston with Guttikondas
Week 21, Oct 4, Honeymoon in 2nd Trimester
Honeymoon in 2nd trimester...sounds crazy but it was very nice. We drove to Vermont and stayed there for couple days.
We stayed near Bennington, supposed to be a historical town.
There was long memorial tower which was very beautiful. The best part was the kids who were dressed like in colonial times... t

Jun 22 2009 3 AM Honey we are pregnant
3am Jun 22 2009 , yes 3AM, mommy woke daddy. Daddy was half asleep and so immediately got out of bed. Mommy who is always little cautious before celebrating, tested twice before sharing the news with daddy. "Anil the strips says positive"
daddy almost shouted, "Honey we are pregnant !!" After celebrating for a moment mommy went to bed, but daddy who was wide awake immediately called his mommy and shared the news.
"Amma get ready to come to U.S. next year, jr rachakonda is on the way"
Before mommy become unrecognizable, daddy decided to treasure the moment in his memories and Mr.Canon was also handy...
-4 months
Suddenly on his B'day dad-to-be realized that Jr.Rachakonda is due in 4 months and till now the plan to document his journey hasn't been kicked off.
Its a boy!
Mommy wasn't ready to keep it a surprise, though daddy thought it would be exciting to play the guessing game.
Mommy is now in 2nd Trimester, 22nd week and will be completing 5th month in five days. I think its very confusing, to track the week, month and trimester simultaneously. Maybe it was devised to keep the mommy from getting too paranoid about the baby. Little confusion helps.
To minimize confusion, daddy outsourced the task to google calendar and ofcourse kept it a secret from mommy. Poor mommy is always surprised at the accuracy of Dad's knowledge. Way to go Google :)
